In-PersonSensational Salads is a fun, hands-on nutrition and cooking program designed to inspire participants to rethink what a salad can be. This program teaches how to create fresh, flavorful, and satisfying salads using a variety of ingredients. Participants will focus on building balanced salads by combining leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins to create meals that are both nutritious and filling. Participants learn simple knife skills, food safety basics, and creative ways to mix textures and flavors. Throughout the program, individuals also explore how to make homemade dressings using herbs, spices, and pantry staples, helping reduce reliance on processed options while boosting flavor.
